Established Field Mission
Nigeria: The Hand of Comfort
“Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble.” — James 1:27
At the center of our West African operations is The Hand of Comfort. Operating on the ground across vulnerable Nigerian communities, our ministry provides a Christ-centered sanctuary for orphans, at-risk students, and struggling widows.
Rather than offering fleeting relief, we invest in enduring generational transformation: paying mandatory school tuition, outfitting students with Christian educational supplies, hosting community feeding tables, and equipping women with trade tools to achieve dignified self-reliance.
- Tuition sponsorships, school uniforms & literacy supplies for vulnerable children.
- Widows’ and women’s micro-trade empowerment & business mentoring.
- Evangelistic food outreaches & pastoral ministry care in underserved villages.
- On-the-ground volunteer mobilization and local church support.
Strategic Expansion Initiative
Kenya: Living Water & Digital Learning
“Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.” — John 4:14
In obedience to the Great Commission, Great Comfort Ministries is extending its footprint into East Africa with a targeted Kenya Expansion Initiative. This mission confronts generational poverty through clean water and digital educational accessibility.
We are preparing to install community-scale clean water filtration systems to eradicate waterborne illness, while simultaneously outfitting grassroots Christian schools with mobile digital learning tablets and STEM curricula to equip youth for the modern world.
- Community clean water filtration units & public tap stands.
- Digital learning tablet deployments for rural primary school classrooms.
- Pastoral leadership development & Christian youth mentoring.
- Strict compliance with IRS Rev. Rul. 68-489 foreign grant guidelines.

- Weekly grocery hampers for low-income and single-mother households.

- Community life-skills, financial literacy, and career readiness seminars.
